Gaining an overview of nature recovery activities in Scotland.
This small project aims to build a database of all nature recovery projects and organisations in Scotland. We want to capture the extent of current activity as well as the diversity of organisation forms and management approaches.
We will be mapping the size of landholdings, the different models of landownership and forms of political economy. We are also interested in capturing the diversity of meanings of nature recovery at work in Scotland today. This will be a desk-based study to inform the design of the social science research in the project.
